Mitchell’s Flavor of the Month is S’mores!

There’s nothing like a delicious S’more to finish off the summer and transition into fall weather. Mitchell’s Ice Cream is serving up S’mores ice cream all throughout the month of September, and we want you to come in to savor those last few weeks of sunshine!


Incorporate our Flavor of the Month with one of our favorite campfire treats–this time, with a twist! Our recipe of the month is Frozen S’mores. They’re easy, refreshing and delicious!


1 Box of Graham Crackers

1 Pint of Mitchell’s S’mores Ice Cream

1 Bag of chocolate chips for melting


Use a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper to set up your Frozen S’mores. Break the graham crackers in half and set one half on the parchment paper. Top the graham cracker half with a small scoop of Mitchell’s S’mores Ice Cream.

While you’re assembling the S’Mores, melt the chocolate chipsĀ in a double boiler. If you don’t have a double boiler, use a bowl set over a pan of barely simmering water. Stir frequently until smooth.

Once the chocolate is melted and you’ve topped off your scoops of ice cream with the other half of the graham cracker, carefully dip half of the S’more in the melted chocolate and transfer it back to the cookie sheet. Once all of the S’mores have been dipped in chocolate, store them in your freezer until ready to serve!
